Cannon 5 ("Cannon 5", "we", "us", or "the Service") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the Service:

• Account Information Authentication is handled by Clerk. We store your Clerk User ID and, where applicable, Organization ID. We do not store passwords.
• Imported Data Data you voluntarily upload via CSV files or sync from Google Sheets, such as names, numeric values, labels, and configuration metadata used to generate leaderboards.
• Google Account Data If you enable Google Sheets integration, Cannon 5 accesses only the specific spreadsheets you explicitly select. Access is read-only unless otherwise stated. We do not store Google account passwords or access unrelated Google data.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Generate, display, and manage leaderboards
• Provide core functionality of the Service
• Maintain system integrity and performance

We do not sell your personal data, use it for advertising, or use it to train machine learning models.

4. Data Storage and Security

Leaderboard configurations and data are stored using secure infrastructure provided by Upstash Redis and Vercel KV. Uploaded images are stored via our image storage provider.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. However, no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

5. Third-Party Services

Cannon 5 relies on the following third-party services:

• Clerk for authentication and identity management
• Google APIs for Google Sheets integration
• Upstash / Vercel for data storage and infrastructure

These services process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. Cannon 5 is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

6. Data Retention

Data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Service. When you delete a host or leaderboard, associated data is removed from active storage within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You may delete your hosts and associated data at any time through the Cannon 5 dashboard. This action permanently removes related leaderboard data from our systems, subject to standard backup retention.

8. Children’s Privacy

Cannon 5 is not intended for use by children under the age of 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
